31 Days of Menus: A Master Plan

This idea really comes from “Auntie Leila’s” blog. And no, I’ve never met her and don’t have an Aunt Leila :-).
Anyway, in true Auntie style she is great at dispensing advice, and it’s good advice.
Her take on menu planning gives a definite place to start, one that avoids reinventing the wheel each week. Down on the bottom right hand side of her blog you’ll see a section titled, “Happy Home, Food Organization” and it includes worksheets to help you out. Start there if you need more help than I am providing.
The basic idea is to make a master plan of all potential dinner menus (those in your repertoire), then when it comes time to write up a weekly menu, you just glance through that and pick the dinners that work best with your budget, available food, etc.
